Merve DEMİRKIRAN

Born in 1986 in Istanbul, Merve Demirkıran graduated from the Foreign Language Department of the Private Kalamış High School and then she received her Bachelor’s degree in the Department of Public Relations and Advertising at Istanbul Bilgi University in 2004.

She started her career as a Coordinator at a private art gallery in 2007 and she opened a new chapter in her career by joining Adler Central Europe team as a Marketing and Communication Expert and Coordinator of Corporate Programs in 2009. Merve Demirkıran has undertaken the management responsibilities of the Communication and Operation Departments within Adler Central Europe since 2012. With her skills and competence in the company, she works on the subjects of growth and diversity. Expanding the international vision and corporate culture by blending her skills in the field of innovation and the company’s vision by advancing towards goals is among her career plans.

Merve Demirkıran started to receive the Professional Coaching Certificate Program training of Adler Central Europe in 2010 and she states that she has quickly felt the performance improving effects of the training both personally and for the company. She has participated in the vocational training program of Starcom Media Vest Group in the summer of 2009 and the decision making and problem solving techniques, time management, positive thought, brand management skills and market research techniques training programs of Minerva Training and Consultancy are among the courses she has taken. In 2010 she has successfully completed “New Generation of Customers” training from Dinamo Training and Consultancy Company in order to support her own personal development.

Merve Demirkan defines coaching as “an important step for the individual to know herself, empathize with the other person and lead her life with her values” and she stresses that she feels very lucky to have met coaching at a very young age. She is interested in music, photography, travel and cinema and kayaking, swimming and riding are among her hobbies. She has a good command of English. She defines her life philosophy as “Infinity and Choices”. Focusing especially on child development and needs, Demirkıran works for many associations and foundations in order to provide a more fruitful future for young people in Turkey.
