Burcu ÇAKIN

After graduating from the Department of Business Administration in Boğaziçi University, Burcu ÇAKIN completed her Master’s degree in George Washington University.

Burcu ÇAKIN started her career in World Bank (Washington DC, USA) in 1995 as a privatization and private sector development expert. Working at different positions in national and foreign offices of many local and multinational financial establishments throughout her 12-year finance career, ÇAKIN has rendered her counseling services to SMEs for the last four years in terms of business development, investment and financing within the corporate finance counseling firm she has founded. During her working life, she has participated in numerous short and long term financing and investment projects in developing countries such as Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Jordan, Egypt, Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary as well as the USA and Turkey.

Completing her ICF accredited coaching training in Adler Central Europe, ÇAKIN became a member of Adler Central Europe’s coach and trainer team for corporations after successfully finishing Adler’s Advanced Coaching: Practicum, Trainer Training and Mentoring programs. In addition to coaching, she works as an advisor and trainer for Linkage (www.linkageturkey.com), which is a leadership and organizational development services firm from the USA.

Married with two children, ÇAKIN has personally gone through many stages any business woman can. Fostering her personal change and development, these experiences have become the elements that have carved out her current identity. A fan of nature and traveling, in her free time Burcu ÇAKIN likes to ride horses, play tennis, read books and sail in summers as time permits. She has advanced command of English and French.
